Due to recent public health concerns, the Northwest Steam Society Board of Directors is making decisions regarding Society Sponsored Events, on a one-by-one basis. Decisions and information about events that are sponsored by individuals or other organizations are the responsibility of those parties. Steamers' Breakfast - via Zoom       

Covid-19 can't stop a hungry bunch of steamers! Join the breakfast gang online via Zoom video call. All you need is a computer or smartphone with video and voice capabilities. If you're already on Murray's list, you'll get the login info soon. If you'd like to join us, just contact Murray and he'll get you set up. Hey, it's not ideal, but you don't have to look for a parking spot. Yes, eating online is allowed. Just bring a cup of your favorite breakfast beverage and join us!

Online ZOOM Event: History of Steamer Virginia V

and the Mosquito Fleet of Puget Sound





The S.S. VIRGINIA V is the last operational example of a Puget Sound

Mosquito Fleet steamer. Her maiden voyage was on June 11, 1922. Her

all-wood construction and steam engine make her a National Historic

Landmark vessel. Presenter Ed Brown is our Senior Docent and our resident

expert on the ship’s history. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more

about the ship and the Mosquito Fleet!
