Parts & Accessories for Sale

1.  Big Pipe Tools: 36" Rigid pipe wrench and 3-wheel pipe cutter, takes up to 3-inch pipe. Both $40 O.B.O.

2.  This item qualifies as a real nautical antique: Wicker Deck Chair from S.S. President Madison, the U.S. President Line passenger liner, scrapped in Seattle in 1935. The chair was rescued from the scrapyard by George Ives, old-time Seattle steamboat admirer. George made his living building models for local naval architects and shipbuilding companies. I acquired the chair from him in early 1970s. George said I should have it because I had a boat big enough to carry the chair in style (S.L. Cyrene). This historic chair is now available to someone else for  $50

6.  Whistle, single note, Yellow Brass, air operated, probably from a streetcar. No maker’s name. 1-3/4” dia.

x 17-3/4” tall. 1/2 NPT  conn. NOTE - this is a LOW PRESSURE whistle, if operating on steam, make sure to have a restriction in supply line to avoid overpressure that can literally blow the top off. It also sounds better this way.  Was $100 Reduced to $75

  • Height: 25” to top of cylinder

  • Intake: 3/8” pipe

  • Exhaust: 3/4”

  • A reversing rocking valve engine

  • It has crosshead driven feed pump.

  • Bore is 3”, I think - I have not taken the cylinder head off.

  • Stroke is 3”

This is the only rocking valve engine I have ever seen. It is obviously factory made but there are no identifying marks anywhere that I can find. It is old enough that there are some square head bolts.
